The reality of war in our country has impacted many families in our school community. Many children in Gilbert Plains Elementary School have friends and family that are currently serving or have served our country. We would like to honor them.
Please bring in a COPY of a picture of friends and relatives to up in our hall of heroes. Please label the picture with the name of the person, the student(s) that the person is related to and the war they participated in.
The pictures will be used to create a hall of heroes and will be on display for the month of November. Please hand your pictures to the office no later than Wednesday, November 7.
