Principal's Message

Welcome to Gilbert Plains Elementary School! We serve a population of approximately 130 students, grade K through grade eight. We are a school of continuous learning where professional growth and development is valued by everyone.

As the Principal, I am so proud to be a part of our educational team. My essential priorities for the school include the following: To support our staff in renewing their commitment to meeting the needs of all Mustang students; to develop and sustain strong communication with our community, and value input, questions, and assistance from all; to insure the safety of our students by providing a clean, orderly, and nurturing learning environment; and finally, my most essential priority is to do all I can to see that every Mustang student develops to their potential so they may become productive citizens.

I am convinced that with your help, along with high expectations for these priorities by all of us, our students will succeed! Parent involvement is critical in every successful school.
