Intramurals

Gilbert Plains Elementary School Intramural Program consists of a variety of sports and involves all of our students in grades 5 through 8.  The emphasis of the program is on participation, active health and enjoyment through team sport.  This program provides our students with the avenue to have fun, develop skills and experience athletics in a safe and comfortable environment.  

Focus: 

The focus of the program is on participation. 

Leadership:   

Students are trained to officiate the intramural sports and activities.  This gives our students an opportunity to practice their leadership skills while modeling mature responsible behaviours as officials for the younger students.
